Exmouth has a proud fishing heritage that stretches back centuries. Today, a small fleet of day boats still head out from the Marina each morning and return on the tide to unload nets full of Lemon Sole and Pollack. Mussels, Cockles, Clams and Oysters come direct from the River Exe, not forgetting succulent Lyme Bay Lobster and Crab.

Next door but one to us, or just 20 yards from our front window is The Exmouth Mussel Company. Myles and his team, seen here on their boat, harvest River Exe mussels, clams and oysters. Exmouth Mussels has won numerous gold awards for the quality, traceability and freshness of their entire range of shellfish.
